Is the course suitable for beginners?

Yes! The course is suitable for both beginners and people with some previous experience.

Do I need to bring anything to the sessions?

You are welcome to bring your own meditation cushon or bench if you already have one, but there will also be some to use at the sessions.

What if I can't attend one of the sessions?

No problem, you can repeat the missed session on a subsequent course.

Do I need to be able to sit crossed legged! I have sore knees!

Not at all, this is a common question! Many people prefer to sit in a chair during the meditations - Being comfortable is essential to working with the mind.

Is the course religious?

No, although the concepts of mindfulness originated in the Buddhist tradition, the course is not religious. We are open and inclusive of all faiths and backgrounds.

Are there any written assignments?

No, there are not any written assignments during the course - However, regular practice in-between sessions is recommended and there will be additional supporting materials released online after each session to support the theme or focus of each week.
